BSRC Joins Launch of “Zoo Day Camp” to Promote Wildlife and Environmental Conservation

Mr. Worapoj Rangsivichitprapa, Vice President, Refinery SSHE of Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC), recently participated in the opening ceremony of the “Zoo Day Camp: Caring for Wildlife, Conserving Nature and Environment.” The event was held at Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi Province and was co-hosted by Mr. Narongwit Chodchoi, Director of Khao Kheow Open Zoo.
The “Zoo Day Camp” is a collaborative initiative between BSRC, Khao Kheow Open Zoo, and the Institute of Marine Science at Burapha University. The camp provided a hands-on training experience for 40 secondary school students from nine schools across Chonburi. The goal is to inspire young people to actively learn about the conservation of natural resources, including both wildlife and marine animals, through immersive experiences and close interaction with various animal species. Through this program, participants gain valuable insights into biodiversity, ecosystems, and the importance of preserving natural habitats. The camp also aims to instill a deep-rooted environmental consciousness among the younger generation.
BSRC has long been committed to environmental stewardship and natural resource conservation. The company continues to work closely with local organizations to organize diverse and impactful initiatives that promote sustainability, raise public awareness, and contribute to building a high-quality, environmentally conscious society.
