15 May 2025

Ms. Tipsukol Duangthip, Public Affairs and Administrative Manager of Bangchak Sriracha Refinery, Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC) represented the company in launching a new community training initiative titled “Batik-Making Workshop for Children and Youth” with Mr. Winas Nuanchawi, Director of Social Welfare at Laem Chabang City Municipality, and the Community Committee of Ban Ao Udom. The opening ceremony took place at the multipurpose pavilion of Wat Mai Noen Phayom, located in Ban Ao Udom community, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province.

Organized by local women from the Ban Sinlapacheep Community Enterprise Group, which is part of the Vocational Training Center supported by BSRC Refinery, the workshop aims not only to provide young participants with a productive and educational way to spend their free time, but also to equip them with hands-on artistic skills. Beyond youth development, the project serves a dual purpose by empowering women in the community. By teaching and sharing their craft, these women can generate income for themselves and their families, thereby enhancing the quality of life and boosting the local economy.

The Vocational Training Center by BSRC Refinery was established to serve as a hub for capacity building and income generation. It supports community members, especially women through skill development programs that contribute to long-term, sustainable economic growth in community.
