Bangchak Sriracha Refinery Sparks Innovation by Presenting GRIT Award to Employees with Outstanding Achievements in Innovation and Creative Efficiency Enhancement

Mr. Anuwat Rungruangrattanagul, Director, Acting Chief Executive Officer, and Senior Executive Vice President of Refinery & Operations of Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC) together with executives of the Bangchak Sriracha Refinery, presented the GRIT Award 2025 to employees who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in innovation and creativity to enhance work efficiency. The award recognizes contributions in areas such as safety, reliability, efficiency, profitability, and the development of employee potential, in alignment with the company’s core values: I AM BSRC.

In 2025, a total of 17 teams received the GRIT Award, divided into three categories: 5 teams received the Bronze Award, 7 teams received the Silver Award, and 5 teams received the Gold Award.

Outstanding Gold Award-winning projects included:

  • Enhancing the capacity of Berth BI by 16%
  • Significantly improving safety measures during the disconnection of subsea oil pipelines at the multi-point buoy mooring (MBM)
  • Implementing an alternative cooler during pipe replacement in the TARP FE-24 system, which reduced the impact on production capacity and saved up to USD 4.88 million
  • Achieving the lowest-ever oil loss rate at 0.15%wt through process improvements and operational redesign
  • For the first time, separately managing RVP deviations for each gasoline grade to enhance quality control precision
