BSRC Fosters a Learning Society by Supporting the “Zoo Outreach” Project to Raise Environmental Awareness Among Youth

Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC), led by Ms. Chiratana Sombatboriboon, Vice President, Refinery Process at Bangchak Sriracha Refinery, continues its commitment to social and environmental responsibility by supporting the “Zoo Outreach” project. The initiative is carried out in collaboration with Mr. Narongwit Chodchoi, Director of Khao Kheow Open Zoo; Dr. Ballung Nueangsang, Director of the Institute of Marine Science at Burapha University; and Mr. Sanchai Chaladkit, Director of Wat Manorom School. The event was held at Wat Manorom School in Sriracha, Chonburi, with the goal of promoting wildlife education and environmental conservation among local youth, while instilling a deep-rooted awareness of sustainable natural resource protection.
The “Zoo Outreach” project is a joint initiative by Bangchak Sriracha Refinery, Khao Kheow Open Zoo, and the Institute of Marine Science, Burapha University. It offers rotating educational activities to various schools around the refinery area to broaden learning opportunities and foster community participation in environmental conservation. The program features a variety of hands-on learning stations, covering topics such as wildlife, the environment, marine ecosystems, and biodiversity. It also includes creative activities that enhance analytical thinking, teamwork, and self-expression. Students engage in real-world learning experiences guided by experts from each participating organization, ensuring that the content is accessible, engaging, and fun.
