BSRC Supports Marine Resource Conservation and Promotes Learning through the Marine Animal Nursery at the Institute of Marine Science, Burapha University

Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC), reaffirmed its commitment to the conservation of natural resources and the environment by supporting a project focused on the care of marine animal specimens and display tanks at the marine animal nursery of the Institute of Marine Science, Burapha University. Mrs. Tipsukol Duangthip, Public Affairs and Administrative Manager of Bangchak Sriracha Refinery, presented the project support funds to Dr. Janjarus Watanachote, Deputy Director of the Institute of Marine Science, Burapha University.

The marine animal nursery exhibition area serves as an informal marine learning center, attracting as many as 7,000 visitors per day. It showcases marine life native to Thai waters through display tanks that simulate natural environments. The educational content is categorized into various themes, such as coastal life, colors of the sea, and the ocean as the world’s kitchen. The facility is open to students and the general public, offering an opportunity to study the lives of underwater creatures while fostering awareness and a sense of responsibility for marine resource conservation.

BSRC places strong emphasis on the long-term conservation of natural resources and the environment. Its support of educational and conservation-related projects represents another important step toward achieving the company’s goal of sustainability.
