Bangchak Sriracha Refinery Drives Safety into Communities, Donates Helmets to Students in Laem Chabang

Ms. Tipsukol Duangthip, Public Affairs and Administrative Manager of Bangchak Sriracha Refinery, Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited, emphasized the company’s mission on safety and social responsibility by donating safety helmets to students in Laem Chabang Municipality, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province. The initiative is part of the “100% Helmet for Thai Children” project, aimed at preventing accidents, promoting traffic discipline, and fostering a sustainable safety culture within the community.
A survey by Laem Chabang Municipality revealed that more than 2,500 students commute to school by motorcycle, with concerning accident statistics largely due to the lack of proper helmet use. This project was therefore launched through collaboration between public and private sectors to promote awareness of traffic laws, the correct use of helmets, and to instill a culture of safety among teachers, parents, and students.
Bangchak Sriracha Refinery adheres to the policy “Safety is at the Heart”. The company not only maintains the highest safety standards in all production processes and operations, but also extends its efforts to enhancing everyday safety for people in surrounding communities, striving to build a truly safe and sustainable society.
