Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC), led by Dr. Bowornsak Wanichkul, Vice President, Government Relations & Sustainability, joined hands with key partners including the Institute of Marine Science, Burapha University, led by Dr. Ballung Nuengsang, Director, and Chonburi Cancer Hospital, led by Dr. Piyawat Laowahutanon, Director, together with Dr. Phitchayapa Phichaya, Deputy Director. The collaborative activity took place at the Bangsaen Underwater World Learning Center in Chonburi Province.

The “We Help for Your Hope” Project aims to enhance the quality of life for cancer patients through marine animal-assisted therapy. BSRC volunteers and medical staff accompanied patients undergoing treatment to visit the Marine Science Museum, offering them moments of relaxation and joy. By observing and connecting with marine life, patients experience reduced stress and muscle tension, and lower cortisol levels - leading to both physical and mental relaxation. This alternative form of therapy helps patients regain positive energy and supports their recovery journey.

The initiative truly reflects BSRC’s Core Value “I AM BSRC,” particularly the “C” which stands for Caring - showing compassion and empathy that extend beyond the organization to the wider community. Through this activity on World Mental Health Day, BSRC reaffirms its commitment to fostering hope, strength, and emotional well-being for those battling illness, while continuing to operate responsibly and sustainably for society.
