BSRC Strengthens Community Leadership and Fosters Sustainable Growth with Environmental and Social Commitment

Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC) reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable business operations through the “Communit-Refinery Leadership Empowerment and Engagement Program 2025”, held on 16 October 2025. The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Nongluk Chawankul, Vice President of Refinery Business Enablement, Dr. Bowornsak Wanichkul, Vice President of Government Relations & Sustainability, and Mr. Phiphawat Sitthichaikasem, Vice President of Risk Management & SSHE. They warmly welcomed the chairpersons and community committee members from 11 nearby communities, together with representatives from Laem Chabang City Municipality.

The program aimed to strengthen understanding and confidence in BSRC’s transparent and responsible business practices. Company executives shared insights into BSRC’s business direction, sustainability vision, systematic environmental management, emergency preparedness plans, and refinery safety standards. The session also encouraged open dialogue between community leaders and BSRC management, fostering closer relationships and stronger collaboration toward shared, long-term benefits for local communities. To further enhance community leadership capacity, participants joined interactive workshops designed to build teamwork and leadership skills - empowering them to work effectively with the refinery in creating positive impact.

BSRC and community representatives also joined a CSR activity at the Thai Elephant Conservation Center in Khao Yai, planting Maka seedlings to help restore forest ecosystems. The annual program reflects BSRC’s strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and sustainable social development.
